Rinse the rice and cook with water and salt until fluffy. Set aside warm.

Stir in turmeric powder, paprika, cumin, and chili powder.
Add roasted crushed walnuts and mix well to coat the chicken. Pour in chicken stock and simmer for 10–12 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add bell pepper cubes and cook for another 3–4 minutes. Finish with yogurt or cream if desired for a smoother sauce.
